The CGU reached this morning an agreement of collaboration with the Fundación Cidade da Cultura de Galicia during the meeting that representatives of the CGU held with the Manager Director of this entity, Beatriz González Loroño, at its headquarters at Santiago de Compostela.
During the meeting, both institutions agreed on a series of collaboration lines with the main goal of supporting initiatives and activities aimed at cultural promotion.

The president of the CGU met this morning with the Director General of International Relationships and with the UE of the Xunta de Galicia and director of the Fundación Galicia Europa (FGE), Jesús Gamallo, at the headquarters of the FGE at Santiago de Compostela.
During the meeting both institutions reached a series of collaboration and participation agreements focused on increasing the international renown of the Galician region.

The Compostela Group of Universities (CGU) announced this morning through its president, Maurits van Rooijen, the decision, made jointly with the Galician Government, of giving the XVI International Prize Compostela Group-Xunta de Galicia to the College of Europe as a recognition for its promotion of the European values in Higher Education.
Along with the president of the Group, the General Secretary of the Xunta de Galicia for Culture and member of the Jury, Anxo Lorenzo, and the Rector of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and member of the Group's Executive Committee, Juan J. Casares Long, also took part at the press conference.

The Masaryk University will hold a financial workshop in the framework of the Corinthiam project will take place in Brno (Czech Republic) on 19-21 June. Masaryk University will be able to (partly) finance cost of stay of the participants coming from the Corinthiam partner countries.
The possible topics are: Masaryk University organization Structure, IRO and Research Support Office Structure, Masaryk University Financial Management Structure, Funding Schemes of HEI, Consortium Agreement financial Issues, Financial Planning, Financial Spreadsheet, FP7 Financial Rules - Grant Agreement Annexes and what to watch out for, Cost Reporting, Certificate on Financial Statement, and Audit Certificates.
